Cassidy grew up in the Okanagan where she spent a lot of her time playing soccer and competitive basketball. She’s always loved working with children and has gained experience in a variety of settings, including coaching basketball, working as a camp counsellor, and teaching kids how to cook. Her interest in physical therapy started through her participation in sports and grew throughout her kinesiology degree, and she feels so lucky she gets to combine her interests by working at Kids Physio Group!
While completing her Masters of Physical Therapy, Cassidy was fortunate to have a clinical placement at Sunny Hill Health Centre where she discovered the wonderful world of pediatric physiotherapy. She enjoys working with kids of all ages and abilities and believes in working as a team with the child and their family to help each child reach their full potential. Her favourite part of physiotherapy is coming up with creative new ways to challenge kids and seeing them build confidence in navigating their world.
Outside the clinic, you can find Cassidy shooting air balls on the court, falling all over the skate park and pretending she knows how to do gymnastics. When she’s not running around her favourite activities include reading her giant books and trying new flavours of ice cream.
