Cassidy grew up in the Okanagan where she spent a lot of her time playing soccer and competitive basketball. Sheโs always loved working with children and has gained experience in a variety of settings, including coaching basketball, working as a camp counsellor, and teaching kids how to cook. Her interest in physical therapy started through her participation in sports and grew throughout her kinesiology degree, and she feels so lucky she gets to combine her interests by working at Kids Physio Group!
While completing her Masters of Physical Therapy, Cassidy was fortunate to have a clinical placement at Sunny Hill Health Centre where she discovered the wonderful world of pediatric physiotherapy. She enjoys working with kids of all ages and abilities and believes in working as a team with the child and their family to help each child reach their full potential. Her favourite part of physiotherapy is coming up with creative new ways to challenge kids and seeing them build confidence in navigating their world.
Outside the clinic, you can find Cassidy shooting air balls on the court, falling all over the skate park and pretending she knows how to do gymnastics. When sheโs not running around her favourite activities include reading her giant books and trying new flavours of ice cream.

Laura Patrick (nee Turner) was born and raised in North Vancouver. She is the founder and owner of Kids Physio Group. With a passion for sports, she first graduated from UBCโs Human Kinetics (Exercise Science) program in 2001 before continuing on to receive her Masters in Physiotherapy from McMaster University in 2003.
Laura founded Kids Physio Group in 2006 in the most humble of surroundings.
After 3 years working in the public system with school-aged kids, she recognized a need for all children to have a access to trained pediatric physiotherapists in clinic space designed just for them.
In the past few years, Laura has stepped back from clinical work. Although she still loves taking on the concussion baseline testing, post-concussion injury rehab and the occasional baby motor milestone assessment and the opportunity it gives her to connect with parents, most of her efforts are dedicated to running Kids Physio Group and seeking out new partnerships and markets for us to expand into!
On the personal front, Laura loves outdoor adventures with her family in Deep Cove, keeping up her fitness, explore new cities abroad and cooking and eating delicious food!
